March 2024 - 'Women's Herstory Month' Exhibition at Gracie Mansion Conservancy, NYC

In March, Luisa exhibited at the historic Gracie Mansion Conservancy for the ‘Women’s Herstory Month’ art exhibition. During the opening reception and artist tour, Luisa spoke about her creative journey and shared her experience with art’s therapeutic effects. She is extremely honored to be a selected artist and looks forward to participating in future events at iconic venues.

March 28th, 2024 - Luisa served as Talk Host for the Artist Conversation at Gallery AP Space in honor of Women’s History Month, Chelsea, NY

She facilitated a conversation surrounding women’s empowerment and the remarkable journey the panelists have gone on in their careers. The panelists included: Maria Pavlovska, winner of the Leonardo da Vinci International Prize 2024; Dustyn Kim, Chief Revenue Officer at Artsy; Carole A. Feuerman, world-renowned artist; and Ronna Lebo, writer, artist, and publisher of Black Square Edition. Luisa would love to host more Salones de Arte in the future.

March 22nd, 2024 - Victor Gallery 'Cherry Blossom' Exhibition, Washington, DC

Luisa traveled to Washington, DC, to exhibit at Victor Gallery’s ‘Cherry Blossom’ art exhibition. Hosted at The Watergate Hotel, she connected with international artists, and co-created with them. She had a fabulous time and loved being surrounded by talented, like-minded artists.

May 5th, 2023 - Solo Exhibition titled Cosmic Alignment in Manhattan, NY

This newest series of paintings from Luisa Lopez Celada is inspired by her lifelong creative motivations coupled with recent encounters. Over the last few years, Luisa, like many of us, has been further influenced by unexpected life events and has found new inspirations. These events inspired her to paint with a strong focus on what she appropriately has termed Cosmic Alignment. In requiring to straitening herself out physically, Luisa was reminded how important the correct positioning of something is and this alignment happens when our thoughts, life-choices, and direction all honor our core values. And it is not just our physical body that requires alignment but our mind and spirit also benefit. For Luisa, this revelation was cosmic in that she emotionally regarded the full sum of things and the accompanying extent, intensity, or comprehensiveness. Luisa presented her Cosmic Alignment in the space that began their inspiration which is FUEL.
