Energy
made visible.
Abstract and figurative paintings that carry the healing force of creativity — each one an invitation to feel, to connect, and to bring presence and harmony into the space it inhabits.
Each painting is a living presence — energy made visible through color, light and movement, to restore a sense of unity.Luisa López Celada
The collections
From cosmic abstraction to the human face, one continuous search: the energy that connects us.
Paintings for collectors
Every work is one of a kind, signed, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. Available paintings come first; works already in private collections remain as a record of Luisa’s career.

Fine art prints
Archival prints on fine art paper, editions of 25 — a way to live with Luisa’s color at a gentler scale. Framed in solid wood.
How to commission a painting
A commissioned painting is conceived in dialogue with your space, your vision, and the energy you chose to live with. Executed in oil on Belgian linen with museum-grade materials, and accompanied by a signed certificate of authenticity.
Due to the time-intensive nature of each piece, a limited number of commissions are accepted each year.
- 1
Enquire
Get in touch using the form below and tell Luisa as much as you can about the painting you would like. It helps to include:
- A painting from the collections to use as a reference for palette or composition
- The number of paintings (for example a diptych or triptych)
- The size, in inches
- Whether you would like it framed or unframed
- Where you are based, for payment and shipping options
- 2
Receive a quote
You will receive the price and the estimated timeframe for your commission. Abstract works are shaped by architecture, light and emotional tone; portraits are painted from sittings in the studio whenever possible.
- 3
Agreement & deposit
A commission agreement lays out the terms for the work. Once it is signed and the deposit is received, the painting begins.
- 4
Approve the finished piece
You will see the finished painting before it leaves the studio. Luisa remains personally involved through stretching and framing, so the piece arrives ready to live in your home.
- 5
Final payment & delivery
With the final payment received, the painting is shipped to your address with its signed certificate of authenticity.
Tell Luisa about your painting
The more detail you share, the better Luisa can respond. Prices and timelines are given personally for each commission.

La mujer de La Mancha en Manhattan
Luisa López Celada is an award-winning oil painter from Spain whose work lives in private collections across Europe and the United States.
Luisa received the National Painting Prize at twelve, studied Fine Arts in Madrid, and went on to a Fulbright Scholarship and a Master of Science in Communications Design at Pratt Institute in New York. Luisa built a successful career in advertising — Art Director at McCann Erickson, founder of the agency i-Latina — until a cancer journey led to closing the agency and a full commitment to painting.
Since 2012 Luisa has worked from the studio on Manhattan's Lower East Side. Luisa’s practice bridges abstract and figurative language, addressing transformation, healing, climate awareness, migration and women's rights.
